A waste exemption is a waste operation that is exempt from needing an environmental permit but needs to be registered with the Environment Agency (EA). These exemptions are changing and the EA is contacting farmers to encourage them to deregister any exemptions they no longer need, and to update them with further information.   More detail is at:
