Defra has updated its guidance again this week. To receive delinked payments, you need to apply and be eligible for BPS in 2023.  The payments will be based on a ‘reference amount’ which is your average BPS payment for 2020 to 2022. You will be able to transfer some or all of your reference amount to one or more other businesses during a transfer period in early 2024.  This might be relevant if your business has changed since the start of the reference period. Click here for the latest update.
