“Landscape Recovery” is one of Defra’s new Environmental Land Management schemes and aims to deliver long-term, large-scale, landscape and ecosystem recovery. Defra will be funding 10 pilot projects from 2022- 2024 and will be inviting bids for the first projects this autumn focusing on 2 themes: recovering and restoring threatened native species of birds and insects; and restoring streams and rivers.
