Farmer Network Managing Director, Adam Day, says: “The impending loss of Newton Rigg, remains hard to come to terms with. We must acknowledge and give thanks for the commitment shown by several organisations to continue the future of land- based learning in Cumbria. The importance and value  of the farming community is growing in recognition from the hills down to the lowlands and valleys of Cumbria. Now more than ever, good learning is needed across all ages of the farming community. We look forward to working with Myerscough and partners in future”.
