FARM FOR THE FUTURE – NEW GROUPS THIS AUTUMN

The Farmer Network delivers the Farm for the Future programme on behalf of the Royal Countryside Fund.  This programme, which is funded by Defra, involves a series of 5 workshops and one to one advice to help farmers understand the changes to support schemes and consider their options for the future.  This autumn/winter, we will be holding the workshops at 5 locations across Cumbria, Yorkshire and Northumberland and there is also the potential to be part of a “virtual” group.

We are now taking bookings for our Welcome meetings with the first taking place on Monday 16th October at Gosforth.  At each meeting, the Farmer Network’s Veronica Waller will give an overview of the changes to farm payments and talk about what the Farm for the Future programme involves.  Anyone can attend these Welcome meetings without obligation to sign up, so come along to find out more.  Food provided so please book.
