The Farmer Network is proud to have worked with partner organisations to gather information and data from farmers affected by the floods. We now look forward to supporting the implementation of a recovery plan to help our farmers tackle a mountain of repair work and we can assure them with past experience, that this will happen.

Emergency funding has so far been pledged from North Yorkshire LEP and RABI. It is hoped that other emergency funding is to be announced in the near future. We will continue to keep you informed of any further developments.

Whilst the amount of recovery work is daunting to many farmers our experience in Cumbria shows that it may take time but it will happen….
