It is now possible to plant trees without the recovery of Environmental Stewardship payments allowing farmers to enter into the new England Woodland Creation Offer (EWCO).  If you wish to apply for EWCO on land in an ES agreement, you can find the updated grant manual and the application forms HERE.

West Cumbria and Eden Rivers Trusts have funding to help farmers in parts of the Derwent and Eden catchments to apply for the new Woodland Creation Offer for riparian and NFM tree planting.  They will be able to assist with the application process, including help with consents and tree/contractor advice.
