We understand from Catchment Sensitive Farming officers that, instead of a separate Slurry Investment Scheme, grants for slurry storage will be part of the second round of the Farming Transformation Fund opening next autumn. Grants for low emission spreading equipment are included in the Farming Equipment and Technology grant scheme open now and grants for covering slurry/manure stores are part of the Stewardship capital grant scheme that will open next Spring.  It is very confusing for farmers that grants for slurry equipment and infrastructure are available through 3 separate grant schemes all open at different times.
