Sheep scab costs the industry £78-200 million per year and affects 10-15% of farms. A new 2-year project headed by the Moredun Research Institute and coordinated in the North of England by the Farmer Network will help farmers work together to stop sheep scab by:

supporting local farmer clusters
giving free blood testing and veterinary visits
providing follow-up advice and guidance on treatment

We are now recruiting clusters of farmers and are interested in hearing from farmers willing to work with their neighbours and their vets in testing, sharing results and undertaking the practical elements required to bring sheep scab under control.
