Despite being 300 miles apart, The Farmer Network has a close relationship with the Exmoor Hill Farming Network.  This week we enjoyed hosting their Next Generation Group who visited Cumbria on a study trip and we helped organise farm visits and a trip to Penrith Auction Mart on Thursday. One of the group members, Georgie - who has some Herdwicks at home, helped Gavin Bland show his Herdwick ewes under the watchful eye of Jean Wilson! We’re sure this will have been the highlight of her trip!  The group showed total enthusiasm and commitment to farming on Exmoor and we wish them every success for the future.
