The Government announced this week that is has extended its Farming Recovery  Grant to areas that were flooded in November including parts of South Yorkshire.  This is in addition to the areas of the Yorkshire Dales, particularly Swaledale, that were affected by the flood event at the end of July.  Grants of between £500 and £25,000 are available for repair costs, including removing debris, re-cultivation and replacing damaged fencing and gates that are not covered by insurance.  For more details click on this link:  Farming Recovery Fund
