Sadly, the usual round of Christmas Carol services for the farming community within their local auction marts, have been unable to take place this year. Knowing how much they have been missed, the Farmer Network has decided to host an online Farmers Christmas Concert on Tuesday 22nd December. The concert has been recorded in Greystoke Church by Laura J and Farmer Network MD Adam Day from the Soul Survivors band and will feature a number of classic Christmas tunes and carols. There are also readings, prayers and a blessing from Reverend Richard Hall, also of Greystoke.
We hope that family bubbles of all ages will watch the concert and sing along from the comfort of their own homes. Our message to all our friends in the farming and wider rural communities in Cumbria and the Yorkshire Dales is that we are all here together at Christmas as one big family!
