Every 10 years, Defra conducts a full Census of Agriculture for England for all commercial farms alongside their annual survey.  You should have received forms by e mail or post and farmers are being asked to respond within 2 weeks.   This 10 year Census is compulsory and it is important to respond as the data helps Defra monitor changes which influence policy decisions and scheme development.
