This week, Adam attended the visit of HRH Prince Charles to Hutton in the Forest and was honoured to introduce some of the farmers attending to the Prince.  Farmer Network member John Atkinson, of Nibthwaite near Coniston told Prince Charles that he had recently purchased some rare-breed cattle from him. The Prince jokingly asked if had got a good price, to which John replied “I think they were far too dear, Sir”!

It was clear that HRH is very aware of the many challenges and opportunities facing the farming community.  Adam was able to thank him personally for the support offered to the Farmer Network through the Prince’s Countryside Fund.
