£200 AVAILABLE FOR LAKE DISTRICT FARMERS OFFERING THEIR FARM AS A CULTURAL HERITAGE CASE STUDY

The Farmer Network is one of the partners in a project coordinated by the University of Cumbria aimed a showcasing the cultural heritage of farming in the Lake District.  We are currently looking for farms to act as case studies particularly those with traditional farm buildings, walls, sheepfolds, hedges, habitats such as hay meadows and able to offer practical demonstrations of traditional farming practices such as gathering.  There is a payment of £200 to farmers prepared to participate in a day of photographing and filming.  For more information, please Email: Lois.mansfield@cumbria.ac.uk  or call: 015394-30304
