The Royal Countryside Fund – Farm for the Future

The Farmer Network delivers the Farm for the Future programme on behalf of the Royal Countryside Fund.  This programme, which is funded by Defra, involves a series of 5 workshops and one to one advice to help farmers understand the changes to support schemes and consider their options for the future.  More information is at: The Royal Countryside Fund's Farm for the Future programme.

This autumn/winter, we will be holding the workshops at 5 locations across Cumbria, Yorkshire and Northumberland and there is also the potential to be part of a “virtual” group. Farmers are invited to a series of Welcome meetings which will include an overview of the changes to farm payments and information about what the Farm for the Future programme involves.  Anyone can attend these Welcome meetings without obligation to sign up to the programme, but food is provided so please book.
