FARM BUSINESS SUPPORT FUNDED BY CUMBRIA LEP

The Farmer Network has funding from the Cumbria Local Enterprise Partnership for farm business support sessions of up to 3 hours between now and the end of March 2024.  This can be to discuss any aspect of your farm business including help understanding what schemes might be relevant for your business.  Contact the Farmer Network office on 01768 868615 or email: admin@thefarmernetwork.co.uk

The business health check takes around 2 hours and includes a review of the farm’s accounts, information about the proposals in the Agriculture Bill, consideration of the farm business’ strengths and weaknesses and possible opportunities for future development.

Farmer Network Project Manager, Ruth Kendal, said: “this service is about providing farmers with the information they need about the proposed changes to support payments, helping them understand what these might mean for their businesses and providing support to consider what changes may be necessary for them to survive and develop.”

For more information about the service and/or to book an appointment, please contact the Farmer Network on 01768 868615 or E mail: admin@thefarmernetwork.co.uk
