Yorkshire Dales

Welcome to the Yorkshire Dales section of The Farmer Network, this section deals with all things farming related to the Yorkshire Dales. Anyone with a farm business within the boundary area in blue on the map below is eligible to be a member of the Yorkshire Dales Farmer Network.

The Yorkshire Dales Network was established in 2010, with funding made available through the Rural Development Programme for England, which is jointly funded by Defra and the European Union, and is managed by Yorkshire Forward in the Yorkshire and Humber region. The Rural Development Programme for England also funds the Yorkshire Dales Hill Farm Apprentice Scheme for further details see 'Current Activities.'  A link to the EC Commission’s Rural Development website can be found in the 'Links' section at the bottom of the page.
