TFA & FARMER NETWORK TEAM UP TO TALK TENANCIES

A packed room at the “Gavel” in Penrith Auction on Wednesday evening saw tenant farmers from across Cumbria come together for a briefing session and to share thoughts and experiences as many are having difficult conversations with landlords or have been served notices to quit.  The meeting was organised by Farmer Network, Managing Director, Adam Day, Tenant Farmer’s Association Chief Executive George Dunn, and Cumbrian farmer and national TFA Chairman, Robert Martin.  George Dunn gave an overview of the recommendations from the Rock Report followed by a question time panel session with Rob Hitch of Dodd & Co and Catherine Stokes of the NFU.

The feedback from attending farmers was how positive and informative the meeting had been.
