Pasture for Life will be visiting the Torpenhow Cheese Company on Tuesday 31st May from 2-5pm. Jenny and Mark Lee have transitioned from a zero-graze high-yielding Holstein herd, to a certified organic and Pasture for Life Jersey/Friesian herd which stays out 300 days of the year. They have planted over 4km of hedgerows and introduced a range of legume and herb species into their swards. Their milk is used to make award-winning cheese and butter, and the visit will include a tour of the farm with plenty of opportunity to ask questions, followed by a cheese tasting.
