Yesterday, Defra issued a press release urging drivers to undertake training before towing a trailer or caravan, although we understand it is not a legal requirement - see Drivers urged to get training to tow trailers/caravans.  Remember we have training vouchers available for farmers under 40 in both Cumbria and the Yorkshire Dales – see below.

MORE FUNDING FOR TRAINING VOUCHERS

We have recently been awarded funding from the Yorkshire Dales Farming in Protected Landscapes Programme, Cumbria Community Foundation and Eden District Council for our training voucher scheme.  If you are under 40 and wanting help towards the cost of training, we have vouchers available worth up to 50% of the cost, up to a maximum value of £200.  Call 01768 868615 to apply.
