NORTH YORKSHIRE FLOOD RECOVERY GRANTS AND ADVICE

DEFRA’s FARMING RECOVERY FUND – DEADLINE 31ST MARCH 2020

Defra’s Farming Recovery grant was launched today (20th September) and covers non-insurable items for a range of farm restoration work, including rebuilding dry stone walls, re-cultivating productive land and replacing damaged field gates.  The handbook has full details and the application form can be downloaded on the following webpage: Farming Recovery Fund 2019

The grant is from £500 up to £25,000 and is based on standard and reference costs for some items, but with 3 quotes required for some works such as removal of debris from land.  Applications will need photographs and maps to show the impact of the flooding.  It is possible to apply where damage has already been repaired but evidence of the damage copies of any receipts and invoices must be supplied.
