Askham Bryan confirmed last week that it will no longer provide education at Newton Rigg College from July 2021. The Farmer Network is part of a group looking at the future of Land Based Education and Skills Training in Cumbria and we need farmers to complete an on-line survey to help gather evidence. The survey reviews current training needs and what is needed in the future. The University of Cumbria will be gathering the information for submission to the Further Education Commissioner and a summary will be shared with other Cumbrian land based training providers to help them design future schemes.
