MORE POWERS TO THE POLICE

A bit of good news.  The Crime and Policing Bill received Royal Assent on 29^th April giving the police new powers to enter premises without a warrant to recover electronically tracked stolen agricultural equipment.  This will enable them to act immediately when the location of stolen equipment is known which should speed up recovery of stolen goods and conviction rates.
