The Environment Food and Rural Affairs Committee has launched a survey on the problems encountered while accessing SFI26 Window 2. Please take part in the survey as this will put pressure on Defra to change how it runs the scheme in future. The NFU is also seeking feedback from its members on what they want SFI27 to deliver and alternative approaches to the application process - you can comment here.
Thank you to everyone who responded to the Farmer Network’s online survey circulated 2 weeks ago. A report summarising the experiences of over 50 farmers and agents has been shared with the Defra engagement team and sent to other organisations including National Parks, National Landscapes and the NFU.
