Having had very little grant news to share for some months, we had multiple announcements at the NFU Conference this week including:
- information about the Capital Grant scheme – processing of existing applications and a re-opening of the scheme later this year.
- an increase in payments for those in old Higher Level Stewardship agreements,
- a new round of the Farming Equipment and Technology Fund to be launched this Spring and other technology grants
- an extension to the Farming in Protected Landscapes Programme until March 2026.
