On Tuesday, Veronica and Carol spoke at the Prince’s Countryside Fund’s breakfast meeting together with our Yorkshire Dales Council Chairman, Richard Stockdale and farmer Andrea Todd-Atkinson.  We highlighted the value of PCF’s farm resilience and Farm for the Future programmes in supporting farmers during this period of great change.

We then went to the Morrison’s stand for the launch of PCF and Morrison’s Carbon Clarity Programme.  This autumn, the Farmer Network will be facilitating a pilot “Carbon Clarity” group in Cumbria including a workshop with Becky Willson of the Farm Carbon Tookit and one to one support for 20 farmers to develop a carbon action plan.
