CUMBRIA WILDLIFE TRUST SEED BANK PROJECT

Working with landowners/farmers across Cumbria with a focus on young people (15-25 years). They also are running a parallel project funded through Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust in the Westmorland Dales area, to run/host potential workshops/visits for young farmers to increase skills/knowledge around grasslands.

The CWT Grassland Team work closely with partners, landowners and tenants in South Cumbria to look at ways in which this project can directly help support stewardship and SFI options, such as GRH6: Manage priority habitat species-rich grassland and provide evidence for reporting.
