This week, the Rural Payments Agency has been issuing Countryside Productivity Small Grant Scheme offers. These have been sent out by e mail (not by letter) and you have until 10th November to accept the offer using the online CPSG acceptance portal. We believe all the offers have gone out at the same time so, if you haven’t received an email, we recommend you check your junk mail and contact the RPA.
Once you have accepted your Grant Funding Agreement, you can purchase your items and then submit your claim. The deadline for claims is 31 May 2020.
Last time the scheme was open suppliers ran out of some items, but note the RPA states it will be unable to extend the claim deadline because items are not available. Defra says there should be a third round of funding in 2020.
