CHANGES TO LEGISLATION REQUIRING AN ANNUAL VET VISIT

Apply now for the Annual Health and Welfare Review

From 13th December, changes in legislation will require all producers selling livestock for slaughter to have had an annual farm veterinary visit to comply with EU export requirements.  Being a member of a farm assurance scheme will allow you to comply with this rule, but if not then you will need to arrange a visit from your vet.  This can be funded by Defra’s Annual Health and Welfare Review and we recommend applying now so you can get the visit done before the rules change in December.
