WESTMORLAND & FURNESS VOUCHERS NOW SPENT

We heard this week that the Westmorland & Furness £500 voucher scheme is now fully spent – as has been the case in Cumberland a few weeks ago.  We are not expecting any further funding for the scheme until next financial year i.e. from April 2025.  This is a great shame as it comes at a time when farmers are seeking advice about succession planning following the October budget.  We do have some funding available for up to 3 hours of support is available funded by the Cumbria Accelerator programme delivered by consultant Andy Dyer or the Farmer Network’s Veronica Waller.
