WASTE EXEMPTION CONSULTATION

The EA are consulting on the proposed new charges to fund regulatory work targeting waste crime from April 2025.  For farmers this includes a compliance charge reduction for a set of 15 waste exemptions commonly required by farmers (the ‘common on-farm’ group).  Any additional waste exemptions outside the ‘common on-farm’ group will have the same compliance charge as for all other operators.
