Two new members of staff started working for the Farmer Network this week. Sarah Fleetwood will be an additional coordinator to help Carol and Claire in Yorkshire.  Sarah is secretary of the Dalesbred Breeders Association and farms near Brimham Rocks.  Kate Chester will be working with us as a coordinator in North West Cumbria.  Kate is from a dairy farm near Cockermouth and has a lot of contacts with farmers through previous work with Millcroft vets and does “Farm to Fork” talks at local schools.  Both Sarah and Kate will be working with us as local coordinators for the Farm for the Future groups in Yorkshire and at Wigton, as well as being the “face” of the Farmer Network in their local areas.
