Christmas can be a difficult time of year for those struggling with stress, loneliness, financial hardship, family breakdown or bereavement. Please think of others in your farming community that might appreciate your support over the Christmas period and if you are struggling, remember that others may be feeling the same way and help is available. The farming industry is very fortunate to have the services of the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution and the Farming Community Network - https://rabi.org.uk/how-we-can-help/ and https://fcn.org.uk/. Their volunteers provide vital support, but we can all help others within our community by taking time to talk to each other and share experiences.
This will be our last edition of ENews this year as we are taking a break over Christmas and the next edition will be Friday 3rd January. All of us at the Farmer Network would like to wish you a Happy Christmas and look forward to working with you throughout 2025.
