Defra’s Path to Sustainable Farming includes the welcome news that the maximum grant for the Water Capital and Hedgerow & Boundary schemes will be increased from £10,000 to £20,000.  These schemes normally open in February, but if you are interested in applying for a Water Capital Grant, contact your Catchment Sensitive Farming officer - we have heard the timescale for applying may be brought forward.
