The second SFI26 application window opens on 22 September. Get ready by checking the guidance, deciding which options suit your parcels and making sure your Rural Payments Agency details are up to date. If applying for maintenance of traditional buildings, check the land has a parcel number.
Also check your existing SFI or Stewardship agreement end dates. If they end on or before 28 February 2027, you should be able to apply for SFI26 in this window. There are new emergency drought support funding streams (see below), has increased the budget of SFI window 2 by £50m, taking the total SFI budget to around £290m.
