SFI WINDOW 1 2026

Defra have not announced any updates to the total allocated SFI funding for window 1 and are still encouraging people to apply for this round. If your SFI23, CSMT, CSHT or HLS agreement expires by the end of February 2027, you'll be able to apply for land in your existing agreement through the SFI26 application service before it ends. Defra and the RPA expect this new functionality to be available from Window 2 (September 2026), so it's worth checking your agreement end date and preparing ahead.
