Defra’s Blog Post last week provided more information for those who did not manage to submit their applications because of technical issues or who submitted incomplete applications. The ‘technical issue’ exception group now includes farmers who reported valid technical issues to the RPA by midnight 29 September. It also includes farmers who managed to submit applications which were affected by a valid technical issue; and reported the issue again before midnight on 29th September. These farmers will be allowed to amend their submitted applications to include elements which the system should have allowed them to apply for under the scheme rules.
