SFI 2022 – REPAYMENT OF 25% OF MANAGEMENT FEES!

The Rural Payments Agency (RPA) is demanding repayment of £250 from 2022 Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) agreement holders, following an administrative error.  The 2022 scheme was closed early to allow for the rollout of the expanded SFI 2023 offer and, instead of issuing 75% of the annual management fee, the RPA mistakenly paid 100% – a difference of up to £250 per agreement holder.  It has probably cost more than this to get the repayments!
