In Yorkshire, funding to support the next generation is being provided through the Farming in Protected Landscapes programmes in both the Yorkshire Dales and Nidderdale. This includes £500 towards the cost of one-to-one support, workshops and networking opportunities.

FARMING IN PROTECTED LANDSCAPES (FiPL)

The Farmer Network has been awarded funding from the FiPL programmes in the Yorkshire Dales National Park and Nidderdale National Landscape.

• In the Yorkshire Dales, we have funding for 5 farmer workshops, a farm business advice voucher scheme worth 40% of the cost up to a maximum of £500 plus support for the next generation.
• In Nidderdale, we have funding for 3 workshops for the Upper Nidderdale group, 2 open workshops for farmers in the wider Nidderdale National Landscape as well as support for the next generation.
