PENRITH & DISTRICT FARMERS MART SEEKING GRASS KEEP FOR BREEDING SHEEP

The drought in the south and south west of England has caused grass growth to be hugely reduced.  Many farmers are seriously short of sheep keep.  We feel this may well affect our coming sales of breeding sheep especially gimmer lambs on the 20th September.  We would be grateful if anyone with grass keep to spare would come forward in order to affect a short-term solution to the problem.  For further details including the price to be paid for this keep please speak to Andrew Maughan (077176 11952) or Paul Gardner (07752 589141).
