The Prince’s Countryside Fund is submitting written evidence to the Defra Tenancy Working Group. The Farmer Network has been asked to give feedback on the following questions:

• What are the key issues facing the tenanted sector during the agricultural transition and what issues do tenants face in accessing government schemes?
• Where do you see the strengths and opportunities for the tenanted sector in the future?
• What actions could be taken by Defra to strengthen the sector?
• What actions could be taken by landlords and tenants?
