Join us for an afternoon on farm looking at how good herd management, genetics, animal health and nutrition can help improve suckler herd performance and returns.

We will be discussing:

Genetics & Herd Selection – An AHDB genetics specialist will cover EBVs, selecting the best replacement heifers, identifying the most productive cows and the importance of suckler beef and its role in the industry.

Animal Health – Brian Mundell will look at key animal health considerations, including vaccination and housing.

Nutrition – A feed specialist will cover nutrition through the different stages of beef production, from youngstock through to finishing.
