The National Trust is advertising for a new tenant for Stonethwaite Farm in Borrowdale which includes land at Thorneythwaite. Stonethwaite Farm is being let on a 15 year FBT and is a traditional Lakeland fell farm of around 176 ha including a four-bedroom farmhouse, two-bedroom holiday cottage, a range of farm buildings and an existing campsite business. The tenancy includes the landlord’s Herdwick flock and common grazing rights. The deadline for the pre-viewing application form is midday 6th June.
