Our next event with the National Trust and LDNP is a farm walk at Low Beckside Farm. This was purchased by the Ernest Cook Trust in Autumn 2021 after the closure of Newton Rigg college and the walk will be led by Hector Meanwell, who is employed as the farmer. The evening will cover the pros and cons of being employed as a farmer by a charity and working with them to support their vision
