LAKE DISTRICT NATIONAL PARK HAY MEADOW RESTORATION PROJECT

Are you a farmer in the Lake District National Park, interested in hay meadow restoration? The Lake District National Park are working with Cumbria Wildlife Trust on a hay meadow restoration pilot project and are compiling a list of potential sites for restoration, focusing initially in the Loweswater, Newlands Valley and South Lakes areas of the National Park. Initially, the project is looking for three sites and these will be assessed for their suitability for restoration this summer.
