On Thursday, we facilitated a Foundation for Common land training course for 16 members of staff from the Rural Payments Agency.  The course was hosted by the Dawson family at Bleak Bank Farm near Ingleton with the help of another Yorkshire Dales farmer, John Metcalfe.  The course is aimed at helping organisations understand more about the practicalities of hill farming and the management of common land.
