FARMING INVESTMENT FUND – DUE TO OPEN AT END OF OCTOBER

Get ready for the launch of the Farming Investment Fund with two grant schemes:

• The Farming Equipment and Technology Fund (FETF). This small grant scheme will be based on standard costs for a range of specified farm equipment.
• The Farming Transformation Fund (FTF)is a large grant scheme for more substantial investments with an initial Expression of Interest stage followed by a full application.

We will circulate details when these schemes are launched, hopefully in the next few weeks.

WOODS FOR WATER – HELP APPLYING FOR WOODLAND CREATION GRANTS

West Cumbria and Eden Rivers Trusts have funding to help farmers in parts of the Derwent and Eden catchments to apply for the new Woodland Creation Offer for riparian and NFM tree planting.  They will be able to assist with the application process, including help with consents and tree/contractor advice.
