FREE LEGAL Q&A SESSION AT LEYBURN

The North Yorkshire and Cumbria legal practice, McGarry and Co, are holding a free legal Question & Answer session at Leyburn, aimed specifically at older rural people who are worried about the implications of Inheritance Tax on their estates and other legal matters affecting more mature residents.

Managing Partner, Michael McGarry, explained, “As a traditional rural practice, we frequently encounter mature clients who, had they received some advice previously, could have avoided a great deal of the problems they now face. Questions about Inheritance Tax, Wills and Powers of Attorney and the cost of care for older people can be best handled if they are faced as early as possible, so this session is just to reassure people that these challenges are both common and manageable.”

“We are frequently asked the same questions by clients about how they will handle such issues, so it seems a good idea to hold a seminar, entirely Free Of Charge, to reassure people and introduce the ways in which we, as a highly experienced legal practice can help. The seminar is open to everyone, irrelevant of whether they are clients or not’, there’s no commitment required and, whilst it’s primarily aimed at rural residents who may be a bit isolated and not able to talk about such matters so easily as those living in towns and villages who have access to larger networks, everyone is welcome.”

The first McGarry & Co Legal Seminar is being held at the Tenants Auction Centre, Harmby Road, Leyburn (DL8 5SG) on Thursday 16 January at 1.30pm
