WOODLAND MANAGEMENT ON FARMS – MAKING TREES WORK FOR YOU – YORKSHIRE

The Yorkshire Dales Millenium Trust and the Farmer Network have organised a meeting to help farmers understand how to make the best use of existing woodland and creating new areas. This will include a farm walk, where we will learn about managing woodland throughout its life cycle to boost biodiversity and generating a vital income for the farm business. Speakers to include:
- Mike Appleton from YDMT,
- Phil Lyth who is an Independent Woodland Expert
- Ayse Kaban-Bowers from the Forestry Commission.
Please ensure you wear clean waterproofs and wellies/suitable footwear for a farm walk and check the weather forecast. Lunch with tea/coffee is included at the start of the meeting so come hungry! To book your place click HERE.
